In the ritual of the Ancient Mysteries the neophyte was taught how to draw the Subjective Mind into the Objective Mind, and allow the Omniscient Power of the Subjective to flow into the Objective. That is the secret of the Book with Seven Seals mentioned in the Bible; which no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open, neither to look thereon. (Rev. 5:1-3)

We have mentioned two phases of Consciousness, one phase of which is subject to the Will, while the other is not.

Consciousness is another mystery, the greatest and most profound of all mysteries. The word Consciousness is unique. It is a coined English word; its equivalent appears not in other languages, and was not used by the Ancient Masters.

The word Consciousness is formed by the union of two Latin words: con—with, and scio—to know; and literally means “That with which we know”. Some authors list three types of consciousness, as

(I) Absolute consciousness,
(2) Universal consciousness, and
(3) Individual consciousness.

The fast is defined as, “That consciousness in which everything is. the possible as well as the actual.”

This may be termed the basic consciousness of the atom. Universal consciousness may be defined as thinking time and space, consciousness with the idea of location and succession involved within it, or, in reality, atomic group consciousness. the group of atoms itself forming either a greater or lesser unit.

Individual consciousness may be defined as just as much of universal consciousness as a separate unit can contact and conceive of for itself. Individual consciousness to the atom in man’s body would be its own vibratory life, its own internal activity, and all that specifically concerns itself.

Universal consciousness to the cell might be considered as the consciousness of the entire body, viewing it as the unit which incorporates the atom Absolute consciousness to the atom might be considered as the consciousness of the thinking man who is energizing the body.

To the atom that would be something so remote to its own internal life as to be practically in-conceivable and unknown, yet it sweeps into the line of its will the form and the atom in the formt and all that concerns them.

Ancient esoteric philosophy held that consciousness must be predicated not only of the animal and of man, but must be recognized as extending through the vegetable on into the mineral kingdom, and that self-consciousness must be regarded as the consummation of the evolutionary goat of consciousness in the three lower kingdoms.

And here. in the tiny atom, that reservoir of tremendous power, we find the scat and center of the great mystery and the end of the long trail. The atom is the life unit, the intelligence unit, the building unit, and the building material.

The atom is the God Mind, the Divine Mind, the Universal Mind, the Word-Soul, and the Over-Soul of Emerson. “within which every man’s particular being is contained and made one with all other:” the church God who is all and is in all, and who is made to say in the Bible, “Let us make man in our image.” (Gen. 1:26)

The study of these rare and exceptional states of consciousness of man have established a certain unity, a certain connectedness and consecutiveness, and an entirely illogical “logicalness,” in the content of the so-called “mystical” state of consciousness.

An examination of what is known as mysticism and mystical states of consciousness is of exceptional interest in connection with the idea of “hidden” knowledge. In relation to the idea of “hidden” knowledge, mysticism can be regarded as a breaking thru into man’s consciousness of this “hidden” knowledge.

It appears to be a union of the objective consciousness with the subjective consciousness, producing what may properly be termed a state of Super-Consciousness.

We have said that the Subjective Mind knows how to do all things and has all knowledge.

(Rev. 5:1-3)

The Magic Wand was the symbol of this secret, as shown in our work under that title. Mysticism could not exist without “hidden” knowledge, and the idea of “hidden” knowledge could not be known without mysticism.

“Hidden” knowledge is an idea that does not fit into any other. The ability to contact “hidden” knowledge appears in certain people, in people whom we don not know, in what may be termed an inner circle of humanity.

All the exoteric history of humanity that we know, is the history of the outer circle.

Within this circle there is another, of which those of the outer circle know nothing, and the existence of which they only dimly suspect.

Yet the life of the outer circle and particularly in its evolution, is actually guided by the inner circle.

The inner or esoteric circle forms, as it were, a life within life, a mystery, a secret in the life of humanity, a divine state which science refuses to investigate, and a state which the masses have never reached and never will reach.

As mentioned earlier, the Sanskrit word for our individual human consciousness—the mind—is chitta. The word for universal Consciousness is chiti. (Chiti is also another word for shakti or kundalini.) Both words, chin and china, come from the root chit, meaning Awareness or Consciousness—but not in the limited sense in which we usually use the word “con-sciousness” in the West.

Chit is Consciousness as an absolute intelligence, an intelligence that is unlimited in its knowledge and creativity, omnipresent, and blissful, with a boundless ca-pacity to do and to become whatever it wills. It is, in short, Consciousness as the creative force of the universe. In Sanskrit, the root of a word describes its essence. The essence of chitta—the individual consciousness—is the same as chiti, the great intelligence that creates the universe.

The word Kundalini means the divine creative Energy. The word Kundalini comes from the vocabulary of the Eastern yogi. It means “the bioelectric energy of vitality?

Keep in mind, this energy moves regardless of where you are in the moment. You might be in a yoga class, making love or at the grocery store.

A spiritual awakening is not attached to a spiritual practice like yoga or meditation. Instead, consider it a rite of passage available for all of us to experience at certain times in our lives.

This internal movement of energy is called Kundalini Rising.

The Sanskrit word, kunda means coiled, and any style of yoga safely prepares the body, mind, emotions and soul for this profound unraveling of energy.

Kundalini Rising is a spiritual awakening that helps the nervous system relinquish excess stress, removes blocked energy, changes the blood and awakens consciousness. Kundalini has many names: Holy Spirit, Grace, Skekhinah, Anima, Chi, Bodhicitta. It is the subtle body that describes universal consciousness.

This energy flow is also known by the Sanskrit name Mumukshtva, or longing for liberation. The entire process is one of purification and should not be feared. Everyone’s Kundalini Rising will be extremely different. This is truly a solo journey.

Once awakened, she needs to be guided upwards, up through the psychosomatic journey of the chakras and their attendant distractions and perils.

Once she reaches the crown chakra she is reunited with her counterpart, Shiva, and we move from the relative to the transcendental. The reward, of course, is that once Kundalini has arisen we realize our own divinity and, surrendering individual gratification, bask in this absolute bliss of non-differentiated consciousness.

Kundalini is the power that travels through the Sushumna and opens up the chakras by calibrating them to the point where the vibrational strings of tattvic matter, the seed mantras of the chakras and main mantra of chakras, operate on the higher levels of consciousness.

When man uses the power of kundalini to raise his conscious mind, he operates on the higher levels of consciousness of man and gains tremendous control over his lower mind, subtler bodies, and physical body.

The results of this is the so-called supernatural powers of all kinds—what yogis called the “Siddhis” (psychic powers) such as clairvoyance, clairaudience, psychometry, telepathy, telekinesis, etc. The proper awaking of this kundalini power and control of it turns man into a superman.

If man develops . his will power he can control them . Desire and attachment do not allow man to realize Truth . According to the Master, a new channel of Sushumna has yet to be bored to allow the Kundalini power rise up freely.

Kundalini in its upward movement reaches the pituitary gland, the yogi attains great psychic powers. Such a development becomes possible due to unification of the personal consciousness with the universal life-force. Under the Sagittarius impulse, the divine vision of the cosmic unity has flashed on the individual and aroused the urge to realize it.

THE CROWN CHAKRA – Our brain is the fruit of the whole of our evolution. Through this brain we have got all kinds of powers. If you beat down the ego, the super-ego comes up, if you beat down the super-ego, the ego comes up. How to win over the super-ego and the ego?

The Crown Chakra is also called the Sahasrara Chakra in Sanskrit. It has an in-depth connection to the elemental light. It’s also related to many organs, as well as glands, inside the whole body, such the brain and hands as well as the central nervous systems and pituitary.

Harmoniously healthy chakras can provide people with some really amazing abilities and potentials. They include the ability to transcend all the laws and limitations of nature, to have a higher awareness of immortality and mortality, enhanced religious powers, and the ability of producing magic.

Sahasrara chakra Sahasrara chakra is represented visually as a lotus of a thousand petals located on the top of the head or just above our heads. Tantra believes that this chakra is the symbol of unlimited possibilities.

At the Sahasrara, the socially conditioned self-image of the ego dissolves completely into the primordial awareness of the eternal sacred Self

A thousand-petaled lotus symbolizes this transcendental union with the infinite intelligence of the universe. The Sahasrara is formless and with form, yet untouched by form, beyond form. It is everything, and it is nothing.

At this level of consciousness, the illusion that one is an individual entity fades into the knowl-edge that all things are aspects of the One.

As a result of the unification of the chakras with the source of creation, all desires dissolve into an extending, unbounded state of awareness. In the yogic tradition, this state is traditionally known as nirvana or the Realized Self.

The latent energy has to be awakened and directed through the sushumna up the spine to the brain. As the Kundalini moves from one centre to another a new superconscious world unfolds within. Its ascent is more of an unfoldment, expansion and elevation of consciousness until it attains its blissful state in the brain centre, Sahasrara. Once it reaches the Sahasrara it is the highest state of superconsciousness, Samadhi. Sahasrara is the ocean of Infinite Light, Knowledge, Existence, and Bliss.

The CNS is composed of brain and spinal chord. More than 100 billion neurons are housed in CNS. Here we find the affinity between the 100 billion neurons and the “Sahasrara Chakra”, the thousand petals lotus at the top of the head, which is the highest consciousness center as described by ancient Yogis on the path of Kundalini.

The brain stem is one of the four major divisions of the brain and is composed of the midbrain, the pons and the medulla oblongata. Medulla oblongata connects the spinal chord to the brain. The spinal chord carries both sensory and motor fibers between the brain and the periphery.

Our brain is the fruit of the whole of our evolution. Through this brain we have got all kinds of powers. With this is collected all the wealth that has been received by us. Now, the Atma (Spirit) resides inside this heart and after Sahaja-Yoga its light spreads within us in seven layers, from both sides that can happen only when one’s Sahasrara is open.

Till now,we have been doing the same job with our brain -ego and super-ego– But after realization, we work with the help of our Atma. Atma, before realization resides within the heart,–absolutely separate-as a `Kshetragya’ (witness of the field).

It is separate from us. It is not in our Chitta. After realization, it comes into our Chitta, first which you know, is in the Void. After that, its light comes into the truth, because as the brain gets enlightened we know the truth. “Know”.

Doesn’t mean that we know through the intellect, but know in reality (Sakshat) that this is the truth’. After that its light is seen in the heart. The heart becomes profound, heart starts expanding, starts becoming vast, its power of love starts increasing.

That’s why-‘Sacchidananda-Sat, Chitta and Anand (Truth, attention and bliss (joy). Truth within our brain, Chitta, within our dharma; and joy within our Atma-start getting enlightened. Its light spreads gradually at first. It’s a subtle thing, and in the gross set-up we live in, it becomes difficult to catch hold of that subtle.

Gradually that hold also develops, After that you start to grow, to progress. With the opening of a single curtain of Sahasrara, the Kundalini comes up. But its light does not start spreading all around just then. The Kundalini has just come up and you have saluted the seat of Sadashiva.

Within you, the light of Atma has started flowing hazily. But it has not yet fully blossomed in this brain. No the surprising thing is, that if you want to spread it through your brain, you cannot. You know well, that when you work too much with your intellect, heart-failure occurs. And when you work too much with your heart, the brain fails.

There exists a relationship between them. It’s a very deep relationship. And because of this deep relationship, when you get your realisation their relationship has to become deeper.

The moment it gets completely integrated, your (Chitta) attention becomes completely Parameshwar-Swarup, (one with supreme God). But how can the dissolution of ego and super-ego are effected ?

If you beat down the ego, the super-ego comes up, if you beat down the super-ego, the ego comes up. How to win over the super-ego and the ego?

There’s only one door for that-Agnya chakra. By working on the Agnya-chakra the two, get completely dissolved, And as soon as they get dissolved, the heart and brain first establish a complete concord. “it is this oneness that we have to achieve.”

So, your heart becomes the Sahasrara and your Sahasrara, the heart. What you think is in your heart; and whatever is in your heart, that onlyyou think. When your state becomes like this, then, any kind of doubts, any kind of disbelief, any kind of fear-no such thing remains.

When both the things become one you try to understand this point-which the brain, through which you think, makes your Manas understand, and takes care of it; that brain it becomes your Mana.

When such a state comes, then you become the complete Master (Guru). Such a state we should definitely achieve.

should be surrendered to Her. And the One, who is sitting there, ‘is the ‘fruit’ of ‘all’ things. The roots of this tree, fixed in the soil below, they are also borne out from It. Its trunk, its hard work, its evolution – all’ this in the end becomes that fruit. Everything is inherent in that fruit. You put that fruit in the soil and again the whole of this thing will be borne out.

In the whole world, whatever work of God has taken place, the form of its fruit is our Mahayoga of today! So you should feel blessed and becoming like this “Shriphala”, you should be surrendered in offering.

It is only removed from the tree when it is mature-otherwise it is useless. If it is removed from the tree and then offered, only then is the Puja considered accomplished. So, to understand Sahaja Yoga,–in a very great symbolic-form verify (Sakshat) Shriphala itself is standing before you. In the same way you also have Shriphala.

Fully mature it. There is only one way to mature it, that you have concord with your heart. There is no difference between the heart and the brain. From the heart we desire and from the brain it is fulfilled.

When both the things become one, only then will you be fully benefited. You have got it for a very much higher purpose and keep it at that higher level and only on attaining that accomplished wonderful unique state you can consider yourself blessed.
