Time for Transition. What are the five qualities we need to possess if we are to defeat the enemy within? David demonstrated: faith, obedience, service, prayer, and the Holy Ghost. The modern Goliath of this present darkness we are living in and the fear of antichrist have crippled many of our leaders today. Many of our Western major Corporations, including the Banksters, are headed up by people who have no concern for anyone or anything, other than their own selfish wellbeing. Such people have no concern for their fellow man, the environment or for Planet Earth.

David had the courage and showed lots of faith in God as well as the strength of character and heart. David never wavered at any point. David never backed down from his enemy. It is recorded that, “David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.” David ran to the battle, not away from it! David not only brought down the giant, but he brought courage to the entire army of Israel.

Every aspect of the story represents something to us. The armies (on both sides) are representatives of materialism, greed, ignorance, lust for power, and fear. Goliath represents the oppressive material world. Among the two sides facing each other, no champion of God can be found—until David steps forth. The meeting with the king is symbolic of the world’s education. The armor is a metaphor for the emotional armor worn by the ego—the false king. Our boy David has to try it on and then make a conscious decision not to wear it. Ulti-mately, David embodies the eternally youthful soul of possibility. An aware reader’s ears should prick up now.

A great message is being communicated in this tale.

The X-factor is the ingredient in the equation that allows us to defeat our “enemy’ against all odds.

This enemy is all of the negative programming of the world, all the ores and goblins causing havoc within the human consciousness, all the false unnat-ural conditioning that pollutes the human psyche with so much toxicity that most of us are functioning on a tiny fraction of our available human potential and witnessing a world that reflects that toxicity.

Everything we perceive outside ourselves is a reflection of the inner human environment. How do we remove this monster? Courage is one requisite factor. David had courage. The power of God’s light illu-minated David’s inner world. David was also a child of Nature, he was still in touch with “the living God” directly. His power was not born out of a theory or concept, but from direct experience of real living qualities in the natural realm. And what of the five stones, what are they?

What are the five qualities we need to possess if we are to defeat the enemy within? David demonstrated: faith, obedience, service, prayer, and the Holy Ghost.

There you have the five smooth stones that will assist you in successfully defeating you personal Goliaths in life. These stones of faith, obedience, service, prayer, and the Holy Ghost, have been proven, tested and tried. They are smooth stones. Centuries after David met Goliath the apostle Paul spoke of the latter days, our time. He spoke of our society of you and me. He said in one of his epistles to Timothy (1 Tim 4:1-2)

The First Smooth Stone – Faith

The first smooth stone that David picked up may represent the first principle of the gospel, the principle of faith. David demonstrated great faith in God as he took on the giant Goliath. Let’s read from verses 33-37:

The Second Smooth Stone – Obedience

The second stone that David picked up may be the stone of obedience. Obedience is the first law of the gospel. Through obedience we exercise the principle of faith. David was in the right place at the right time, because he obeyed his father. If David had not obeyed his father, Israel would of been under siege for a longer period of time. Let’s read verse 20 of I Samuel 17: 20.

And David rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse had commanded him; and he came to the trench, as the host was going forth to the fight,…

The Third Smooth Stone – Service

The third stone that David picked up may well be the smooth stone of Service. Without service the stones of faith and obedience will have no power or strength. Service is the action associated with faith and the implementation of obedience. You will remember the words of Nephi when he said “…I will go and do …” (1 Nephi 3:7) When David arrived at the army with the food for his brothers, he heard Goliath issue his challenge and watched as the soldiers all shrank from their assigned duty. In verses 26-29 David asked some very pointed questions to the soldiers and of his brothers. Essentially David ask them why they weren’t doing their duty, their service to their country and family. In verse 28 his own brother scolds him and says that David is proud and boastful. To which David replies in verse 29 and 32 exhibiting his willingness to serve:

And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?

And David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.:

The Fifth Smooth Stone -The Gift of the Holy Ghost

The final smooth stone that David picked up was the stone of the Holy Ghost. He not only had faith, was obedient, performed service, and prayed, but he had the Spirit of the Lord with him. Because of his faith, obedience, service, and prayer the Spirit of the Lord was with him. Remember what President Kimball said:

"...to be the victor, one must follow the path that David followed: "David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him."

The Fifth Smooth Stone -The Gift of the Holy Ghost

The final smooth stone that David picked up was the stone of the Holy Ghost. He not only had faith, was obedient, performed service, and prayed, but he had the Spirit of the Lord with him. Because of his faith, obedience, service, and prayer the Spirit of the Lord was with him. Remember what President Kimball said:

This foolish little boy not only brought down the giant, but imparted to the army of Israel courage and strength after he took Goliath’s head.

When Goliath was brought down, all the Philistines ran and scattered. Regarding the Israelites, fear changed to courage and the Israelites ended up plundering the tents of the enemy. This is what happens when the Davids of our age rise up and bring down the giants before us: the enemy will scatter. This is the picture of real regional spiritual warfare.

When we bring down the principality over the region, all the lesser spirits lose their authority and power to remain.

At that point, we can plunder and take what the enemy has held onto.

We need leaders that are no longer comfortable merely behind the pulpits of their church, but are equally comfortable behind the podiums of societal transformation.

When these leaders rise up, you will see the Goliaths of our day and age come crashing down while losing their heads.

Then again, you can be like David, a man after God’s own heart. David, who was willing to face the giant of the day and take off its head.

Before we can fight and win battles with any enemy, military, commercial, or government, we first of all need to understand its strategic battle plan, identify its allies and band together with like minded people of varying backgrounds and complimentary skills. Make no mistake about it this is warfare.

This is David and Goliath. Our very survival depends upon what our people do to stop big international business interests, especially Banksters, Foodsters and Drugsters, Oilsters, Mediasters and corrupted politicians from destroying our freedom and pursuit of happiness.

America or England is no longer the greatest countries in the world for all to live in. So many of our major Corporations, including the Banksters, are headed up by people who have no concern for anyone or anything, other than their own selfish wellbeing. Such people have no concern for their fellow man, the environment or for Planet Earth.

Anyone who doubts this reality needs only to look at the sectors of our commerce that are concerned with Banking, Investing, Food and Pharmaceuticals, Petrochemicals, Warfare and the Media. Living as we do in what is held out to be and ought to be the greatest country in the world, we should be enjoying the basic comfort of at least a modest home of our own to provide shelter and stability to our families, access to quality organic and wholesome food that is free from genetic modification, quality education targeted towards feeding our minds with the things we need to know to maintain self sufficiency, have an independent media uncontrolled by Big Business and have access to disease prevention and real healthcare.

For our own wellbeing, the future of our children, grandchildren, generations who are yet to come and the very future of life on our precious planet we have to take control of our lives and wellbeing and learn to control the monster that is presently controlling us.

We must learn to stop sucking-into our precious minds false input. In this computer-age we all know the popular phrase “garbage in —garbage out!” Just as it is to the hard drive on a computer, an Ipad or an IPhone, so it is to our unconscious minds, our brain’s version of a hard drive.
