Entering the Temple of Light: Chambers That Open Your Heart
Kundalini is often simplified as the flow of Shakti energy up the spine, but it is, in fact, much more. Yes, it is Shakti, the feminine force, but permeated by the conscious luminosity of Shiva, the masculine! Kundalini is a sacred union of HE + SHE, masculine consciousness and feminine energy rising up the spine as energized light, the energy of divinity, which gives awakening to the bliss body, the home of the individual soul.
The Crown Chakra gives you access to the power from on high. It melds its functionality with the brow chakra to provide the spiritual significance through understanding, wisdom and tapping into the abundant supply the Universe has to offer. The crown chakra is the place of infinite space where gardens of the mind are sown.
A special place of all that is, was and will be. Tapping into this source you will find that all is energy. There is a recycling of birth from beginning to end to rebirth. For as one part dies from its formation like an explosion, another part of itself is renewed and manifests growth over time as we interpret it in our human existence.
The kundalini rises to its apex from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Fundamentally it reunifies the energy as it moves up through each of the chakras. Once it reaches the top of the head the person is perceived to reach enlightenment. Movement such as yoga and meditation can activate this power, lighting a fire if you will, in each of the chakras as they fully open until it reaches the crown.
When you connect with infinite intelligence you are alert, aware, and aligned with your true self. You are aware that the temple lies within. Your outer body is a shell that houses the temple and sustains life on this planet. Wisdom is centered in the crown chakra. As you download information it filters through the 3rd eye promoting wisdom and exceeds the knowledge you already have. The more connected you are with the Universe the easier it is to access the gifts you inherited from Spirit.
You are given gifts freely. If you are not ready to receive them you will not recognize or adequately use them to benefit your purpose in life. When you are aligned with Universal knowledge you will be tapping into your true self and know how to fulfill your true purpose for the highest good of all!
In Bhakti, any form of ritual is secondary. The one great advantage of Bhakti is that it brings within the reach of all, the possibility of direct spiritual experience. Bhakti imposes no restrictions, no rules nor any rigorous practice. It can be carried out anywhere, everywhere, at all times, discretely; irrespective of class, clime or age. It depends exclusively on the devotee’s love and sincerity.
The several types of Bhakti are classified according to thavas’. A thava’ is a mental attitude towards a personal God or chosen Ideal. It is a spiritual attitude; man seeking union with God. It is not on the physical human level but it is the individual soul pining for the Universal or Supreme soul.
The only way to benefit from Kundalini is to have a healthy body and mind, and to rise to the level of Christ-Consciousness first. Seek first the Kingdom of God.
Still it is not the few people with mental disorders who are a threat to humanity, it is the crowds of intelligent people with overblown egos, selfish ambitions, insatiable greed and lack of awareness that threaten human existence. The push for freedom of information in the world includes information about lifting the veil of illusion covering Man’s eyes to give you the chance to develop your potential, your true nature– that of a SuperBeing, both human and divine. It is not only some people who are somehow chosen to achieve this state as many religions have tried to assert. There are no boundaries, such as race, sex, age, religion, nationality or party affiliation. It is the potential of every human being. And you each have the freedom to choose. But to reach the point in your personal evolution when Kundalini can be activated without harmful affects, takes many lifetimes; and we have all lived many lifetimes already, though some more than others.
The Kunda is the pit at the base of the spinal cord where the serpent power resides in three coils. When we give it a push through the breath, it rises through the central channel, the Shushumna. Knowing how to raise this energy, then we are not lost in the dungeon of the world. The energy is pushed upward and goes to the brain where the mind is illuminated. When the Kundalini energy rises in the central Shushumna channel, then the brain is universal. It belongs to everyone, and whoever comes near will be changed.
When we are in this state of contraction and limitation, kundalini is said to be “asleep.” In this state, our energy is bound up in identification with the limitations of the body, mind, and personal history the condition called “ego” or self-contraction. What is called “the awakening of kundalini” is actually the reversal of the energy’s contracting tendency, so that instead of concealing the truth that we are pure energy, light, and bliss, the awakened kundalini begins to reveal it. But first the human body has to be prepared to experience itself as pure Consciousness. Otherwise, our physical density, our physical and psychological blockages, and our emotional blockages, distortions, and fears make it impossible for us to contain the level of energy that the expanded kundalini would let loose in our system.
Steiner describes a sequence of development from the top down rather than the bottom up. This is the so called `Christos Path’ which has not always been available to hu-manity He also seems to ignore the Thousand Petalled at the crown of the head and mentions cryptically an Eight Petalled Chakra located between the Ten Petalled and the Six Petalled. In his book, how to Know Higher Worlds Steiner gives clear instructions on how to develop the Chakras safely into ma-turity. These are more like life disciplines than exercises and can take consid-erable time.
Kundalini is cosmic electricity, the universal life-principle, the conscious energy that takes form as all things and builds everything from within. The control of this energy in its subhuman forms, by mental means, is the primary secret of the Great Work. This “cosmic electricity” is called Chaiah in Qabalah and is attributed to Chokmah. It is the radiant Yod-force held within the medium of the First Matter, the “womb” of Binah. In the Italian Renaissance text, The Kabbala Unveiled, Chaiah is described as “the highest form from Atziluth, . . . therefore the intangible, illimitable, indefinable idea in the Soul of the Great Absolute Incomprehensible God.”1 Chokmah is the “sphere of the stars” and stars
Chakras are also called lotuses, symbolizing the unfolding of flower petals as each chakra is opened. The lotus flower is sacred in India and represents the development from the prima materia to the full light of consciousness, which, mirroring muladhara, unfolds into the thousand-petaled lotus at the crown. Chakras, like flowers, may be open or closed, blossoming or dying, depending on the state of consciousness within. It is said in the ancient texts that, as the Kundalini travels up the spinal column, she pierces and releases each lotus flower which then turns its head upward as she passes through.
For many centuries knowledge of the Kundalini was a closely held secret. Awakening of the Kundalini occurred after either a long discipleship to a master, or after many years, perhaps lifetimes, of rigorous practices aimed at purifying the physical and subtle body sufficiently to allow the seeker to gather enough energy to attempt awakening the Kundalini through yogic means.
When Life essence dwells in the human form, it must light the fires within that form. Those fires, over a number of lifetimes, cause the human form to raise its vibratory quality. We use the symbol of fire because wood has a certain vibratory quality. When ignited, its vibratory quality completely changes.
Thus it offers a symbol of transformation by fire. Life consists of Divine Fire, and so the human form is gradually raised in vibration to the point where its consciousness more closely approximates the consciousness of its sponsoring Soul. And when the Soul activates that form, progress is rapid. The act of baptism represents the application of the water of Spirit. Water, in this sense, has several connotations. We will not go into all of them, but select one connotation. Water represents the rising vibrations of the qualities known as emotions and desires. The energies of the astral plane are often represented by water
When a human being experiences lower, self-centered, self-defeating emotions and desires, the astral body becomes heavy and coarse. The Divine Fire of consciousness raises its quality to the point where emotions and desires are refined. When they become attuned sufficiently high in vibration, the action of kundalini begins in the physical and etheric forms. As it rises from the base of the spine to the crown of the head, the kundalini action of fire completes the process of refinement of the astral energies in the personality.
The act of baptism represents that point of attainment where kundalini rises to the crown chakra, the crown chakra opens, and the blessings of Spirit pour forth for the personality and all in its vicinity.
Water is what enhances memory in the physical body. Kundalini fires the codes, activating the light-encoded filaments and bringing them into light. These tiny fibers are filled with information, and kundalini moving through your body gives you the opportunity to own your memories.
You are being reorganized on a subatomic level. Within your body, the light-encoded filaments—fine, threadlike fibers—are subtle forms of energy that connect everything together. These gossamer threads are reorganized in your body through stimulation by rays and photons that come to the planet bringing cosmic energy. They are reorganized to rejuvenate your body when you drink pure, clean water. They are particularly activated through the process of oxygenation and deep breathing. There are also ways of oxygenating yourself by ingesting herbs known as blood purifiers. When you purify your blood, it is able to carry a greater amount of oxygen. The reorganization of fibers on a cellular level builds and grows, and the fibers invigorate your body in a variety of ways. All this involves activating your brain. You have the keys and the codes to open up the rest of that dormant area.
